DESCRIPTION:The annual Down Home 4th of July event returns in 2025! Join us for the Kids & Pets Parade and then stay to enjoy some music\, food trucks\, and space to picnic along Front Street.\n\nFestivities\n\nKids & Pets Parade\n\n11 a.m. Start | Moving south down Front Street\n\nSpruce up your furry friend and your non-motorized wheels in red\, white & blue to parade down Front Street. Wave to the crowds lining the street to cheer you and your pet on. \n\nBe sure to register in advance\, especially if you are bringing a large group. \n\nFor parade participants\, we recommend arriving between 10:15-10:45 a.m. to get lined up for an 11 a.m. start. The parade staging will be along Rainier Blvd North. \n\nAfter the parade ends\, Front Street North will reopen to traffic\, so please use caution when leaving the event. \n\nFront Street South\, from Sunset Way to Newport Way SW\, will remain closed until 2 p.m. to accommodate the rest of the event. Detour routes are highlighted on the map.\n\nPicnic Along Front Street\n\nAfter the parade\, we invite you to join us along Front St. South where food trucks will be lined up with lots of different options! Five Hooks\, Macho Burger\, Wise Guys\, Issaquah Ice Cream Trike\, and Sweetberry Creamery food trucks are going to be onsite. \n\nGrab a meal\, or bring one with\, and then gather with friends and family along the Front Street green space for a picnic in the sun. Lawn games will be provided for the community to enjoy.
