About Us

In response to the lack of affordable housing available in East King County, the YWCA spearheaded a regional public-private-nonprofit partnership that led to the creation of Family Village Issaquah. Construction was completed in 2011, after a 15-year planning process that ensured this complex would be well-integrated and meet the needs of the surrounding community.

Today, Family Village Issaquah has 146 units of permanent, affordable housing for individuals and families that earn 60% and less of the area's median income. Every unit is environmentally-friendly, which lowers utility costs and protects the health of residents.
