ISSAQUAH, Wash., August 19, 2026 – On Sunday, August 30, the Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) invites the community to experience the Confluence Music Festival, a free afternoon of live Americana music, art, food and creativity at beautiful Confluence Park.
Held where Issaquah Creek and the East Fork of Issaquah Creek meet, the annual festival celebrates the many ways music, art and community intersect. From 2 to 7 p.m., visitors can spread out a blanket, enjoy live performances, browse artisan booths, watch artists at work and spend a late summer afternoon surrounded by nature.
"This festival is about creating moments that bring people together," said Christina Bruning, president of the Downtown Issaquah Association. "Whether you're dancing to live music, discovering a local artist or simply relaxing by the creek, Confluence is a reminder that the best communities are built through shared experiences."
This Year’s Lineup Brings Americana to the Stage
Lauren Sheehan -- 2:00-3:00. Acclaimed Pacific Northwest musician Lauren Sheehan brings American roots music to life with a captivating blend of country blues, folk, gospel, and old-time traditions. An award-winning fingerstyle guitarist and vocalist, Sheehan is known for her authentic performances, exceptional musicianship, and deep connection to the rich musical heritage of America.
Alison Joy Williams -- 3:30-5:00. Alison Joy Williams is an international chart-topping blues and Americana vocalist, songwriter, and author. Known for a powerful, expressive delivery, she has toured globally and released notable records, including her acclaimed 2025 album How You Look at Things.
Earl Wear & Haywire 5:30-7:00. Earl Wear & Haywire is an award-winning independent country music band based in the Pacific Northwest. Frontman Earl Wear has won multiple "Best Male Vocalist" honors at the Independent Music Network Awards and charted successful singles like "Walking To Wyoming" and "What's Not To Love."
"Americana music tells the story of who we are—our history, our communities and the traditions that connect us," said Bruning said. "We're excited to bring those roots back to the Confluence Music Festival and celebrate the artists who keep this rich musical heritage alive while creating new traditions for future generations."
This year's festival continues DIA's commitment to celebrating Issaquah's creative identity. Local artists will participate in a plein air painting competition, capturing the beauty of Confluence Park and the energy of the festival throughout the afternoon.
Food trucks and a beer and wine garden for guests 21 and older will be on site, making it easy for families and friends to spend the entire afternoon enjoying the festivities.
Set against the park’s lush backdrop, attendees will enjoy a vibrant mix of live music from regional and local performers, interactive art installations, and artisan booths. This free, family-friendly event will invite guests to wander, listen, watch, and participate, creating a tapestry of shared experiences that reflect Issaquah’s spirit as a Creative District.
“We love the symbolism of this festival,” Bruning said. “It’s not just about music—it’s about the blending of cultures, talents, and people in a beautiful space where nature and creativity meet.”
